Job summary

REV Group is seeking a skilled coordinator to oversee the build of custom fire trucks and act as a liaison between sales, engineering and production teams. The role requires strong customer service, organization, and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities include reviewing orders, conducting prebuild meetings, inspecting units, and coordinating final delivery with dealers and customers. A background with DOT/OSHA knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required, associate’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years’ work experience with proven track record of outstanding customer service.
• Intermediate knowledge of Order Detail Sheets / Sales Layout-Drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in a cross-functional environment, especially with design and production teams.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality customer service.
• Understanding of DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving ability.
• Open-minded about new technologies and cloud-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming orders for completeness and conformance to established requirements (NFPA/ULC).
• Facilitate prebuild meetings with dealers and customers with staff support.
• Resolve engineering order review questions with dealers.
• Coordinate and participate in final inspections and delivery of units with dealers and customers.
• Review change orders for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established company requirements, with staff support as needed, while performing associated clerical duties.
• Coordinate communications concerning orders among the dealer, customer, sales, engineering, production, purchasing and finance personnel.
• Inspect unit before dealer and customer arrive for final inspection to ensure build accuracy.
• Interact with a variety of customers, which can include interaction with other departments, managers, customers, vendors, etc.
• Perform or assist with any operations, as required or directed, to maintain workflow or respond to production requirements.
