Job summary

Johnson Controls, a global leader in building systems and safety services, seeks an experienced individual to service and sell fire extinguishers and emergency lights. You will manage routes, conduct inspections, and upsell to ensure compliance with current fire codes.

Eligible applicants should have basic PC knowledge, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A competitive benefits package accompanies the role.

Qualifications

• One year experience with service and sales of fire extinguishers, kitchen systems and emergency lights preferred.
• Some fire suppression business experience preferred.
• Positive attitude, self-motivated, strong organization and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and sales of fire extinguishers and emergency lights.
• Manage route servicing existing fire extinguishers, kitchen hoods and conduct emergency light inspections.
• Upsell to customers needing product and services to meet compliance with current fire codes.
• Sell new accounts on route based on same compliance criteria.
• Complete all necessary paperwork to meet deadlines and maintain quotas.
