Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a field service technician to perform service and repairs on Portable Fire Extinguishers, Kitchen Hood Systems & Suppression Gas Systems at customer sites. You will read blueprints and manage daily service calls with a focus on safety and reliability.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and PC skills are essential; on-call rotations and a valid US driver’s license are required. Competitive hourly pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.
• Outstanding customer-facing service and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and repairs on Portable Fire Extinguishers, Kitchen Hood Systems & Suppression Gas Systems at customer sites.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
• Manage daily service calls and customer activity with professionalism.
• Assist customers with questions and concerns promptly.
• Participate in on-call rotation for Emergency Service.
• Inspect Suppression Gas Systems as per contract requirements.
