Job summary

Summit Fire Protection is seeking a Fire Suppression Technician to install, inspect, service and repair fire extinguishers and pre-engineered suppression systems. You will use a variety of tools and test equipment and communicate professionally with customers.

Eligible candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent, 2 years in fire suppression and basic computer skills. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel 20% are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of professional computer skills.
• 2 industry experience specifically within Fire Suppression.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, service and repair fire extinguishers and pre-engineered suppression systems.
• Troubleshoot and identify defective components of suppression systems.
• Complete documentation on work orders and track progress.
• Follow NFPA codes and safety policies, participate in toolbox talks.
• Travel up to 20% and maintain the company vehicle.
