Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a service technician to perform maintenance on portable fire extinguishers, kitchen hood systems and suppression gas systems at customer sites in the Doraville, GA area. You will read blueprints and specs, troubleshoot, install and manage daily service activities with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
Outstanding customer-facing service and problem-solving abilities.
PC skills with Windows, Excel, Word and Outlook are preferred.
Comfortable using smartphone applications and mobile tools.

Responsibilities

Perform service and repairs on Portable Fire Extinguishers, Kitchen Hood Systems and Suppression Gas Systems at customer sites.
Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specs and manuals; manage daily service calls.
Troubleshoot and install varied manufacturers; participate in on-call rotation for emergency service.
Ensure safety, accuracy and quality in all service activities.
