Job summary

Nelbud is hiring a Fire Suppression Service Technician in Mansfield, OH. You will inspect, repair, and maintain pre-engineered suppression systems and on-site extinguishers while ensuring safety and code compliance.

You will interact with customers, educate them on services, and promote appropriate products. A valid driver's license and physical ability to access tight spaces are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of relevant fire suppression experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicle.
• Willingness to work in challenging physical environments.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain fire suppression systems and extinguishers on site.
• Inspect, repair, and replace emergency lighting as needed.
• Educate customers and promote code-compliant products.
• Provide exceptional customer service while representing Nelbud.

Your Typical Day

• Inspection, repair, and maintenance of pre-engineered suppression systems, fire extinguishers, and emergency lights
• Inspect, repair, and exchange fire extinguishers on site and transport, as needed
• Inspect, repair, and replace emergency lighting
• Educate customers and sell products needed to code compliance
• Provide exceptional customer service while proudly representing NELBUD

What Will You Bring?

• Ability to answer promptly to service calls
• Ability to access and tolerate small spaces and work in high places
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in fire suppressionis strongly preferred

What do you need to be considered for a driving position?

• Valid driver’s license – company truck provided from shop to job site
• You must be at least 20 years old
• A minimum of 3 years of driving experience is required
