Job summary

Nelbud Services Group, Inc. is seeking a full-time Fire Protection Technician in Plainfield, IN. You will inspect and service fire suppression systems, extinguishers, and emergency lighting on site.

You will educate customers and help ensure code compliance while delivering excellent service. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and 1–3 years of related experience preferred. The role involves driving to job sites and working in tight spaces.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant fire suppression experience preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be at least 20 years old.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain pre-engineered suppression systems, fire extinguishers, and emergency lights.
• Inspect, repair, and exchange fire extinguishers on site and during transport.
• Inspect, repair, and replace emergency lighting.
• Educate customers and sell products needed to meet code compliance.
• Provide exceptional customer service while representing Nelbud.

Your Typical Day

Inspection, repair, and maintenance of pre-engineered suppression systems, fire extinguishers, and emergency lights

Inspect, repair, and exchange fire extinguishers on site and transport, as needed

Inspect, repair, and replace emergency lighting

Educate customers and sell products needed to code compliance

Provide exceptional customer service while proudly representing NELBUD

What Will You Bring?

Ability to answer promptly to service calls

Ability to access and tolerate small spaces and work in high places

High school diploma or GED

Minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in fire suppressionis strongly preferred

What do you need to be considered for a driving position?

Valid driver’s license – company truck provided from shop to job site

You must be at least 20 years old

A minimum of 3 years of driving experience is required
