Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a field service technician in Burlingame, CA to service and repair Kitchen Hood Systems and related building products at customer sites.

You will read blueprints, diagrams, submittals, and manuals to install and troubleshoot, while managing daily service calls and customer activity. The role requires strong communication, excellent customer service, and problem-solving skills, plus experience with ANSUL, PyroChem, and Piranha systems; a valid US driver’s license

• Experience installing and servicing ANSUL, PyroChem and Piranha systems.

What you will do

Perform service and repairs on Kitchen Hood Systems in addition to other related building system products at customer sites. Service, troubleshoot and install many different manufacturers including Simplex and ANSUL. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics and operational product manuals. Manage daily service call, customer activity and program system products.

• Participation in an on-call rotation for Emergency Service.
• Performs inspections of Suppression Gas Systems based on contract requirements.

HIRING HOURLY RANGE

$22.79 - $28.51 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
