Job summary

Johnson Controls in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to perform on-site inspection, maintenance, and repair of commercial and industrial sprinkler systems. You will read blueprints, diagnose malfunctions, and execute preventive maintenance with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Look for a candidate with 1+ years of fire sprinkler experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. NICET II certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of documented experience in fire sprinkler service and repair.
• Must maintain licenses required by National, State and Local codes.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.
• Capable of performing physical labor up to 70 lbs and working in various positions.
• NICET Level II certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive service calls and ascertain equipment problems.
• Contact customer representative to determine issues.
• Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial and industrial uses.
• Read blueprints, diagrams and specifications to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Demonstrate high level of customer service and work independently.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
