Job summary

Everon in San Diego, CA seeks an experienced sprinkler service technician to install, inspect and repair fire protection systems on commercial properties. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose malfunctions and respond to emergency service calls to minimize downtime.

The role requires knowledge of NFPA codes, a valid drivers license, and a strong work ethic. Travel and on-call availability are expected as part of the job duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school or vocational training.
• 1+ years of experience with wet, dry, deluge, and pre-action sprinkler systems.
• Knowledge of NFPA codes (NFPA 13, 13R, 13D, 14, 20, 24).
• Valid drivers license and ability to pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Services and repairs fire protection sprinkler systems for commercial applications.
• Performs preventative and routine maintenance as well as emergency service calls on existing sprinkler systems.
• Troubleshoots/diagnoses and identifies malfunctioning sprinkler systems.
• Replaces or repairs malfunctioning or inoperative equipment.
• Prepares accurate and timely documentation for work performed, completes monthly vehicle reports, and maintains truck inventory.
