Job summary

Century Fire Protection is seeking a skilled fire sprinkler technician to service, maintain, and repair sprinkler systems across various facilities. You will diagnose issues, perform testing, and coordinate with inspectors and project managers to ensure compliance and reliability.

The role requires at least 3 years of experience, NFPA knowledge, and the ability to read drawings. NICET certification is preferred or obtainable. Overtime and on-call rotations may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 3+ years of fire sprinkler service or installation experience.
• Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and NFPA standards.
• Ability to read and interpret system drawings and specifications.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• NICET certification preferred (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Perform service, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems.
• Diagnose system issues and identify required repairs or corrective actions.
• Conduct system testing, flushing, and functional checks.
• Document service activities, deficiencies, and corrective actions accurately.
• Communicate system status and service needs with customers and internal teams.
• Coordinate with inspectors, project managers, and other technicians as needed.
• Maintain service vehicles, tools, and inventory.
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Support emergency and on-call service requests as required.
