We're a stable, employee-focused company where careful work gets noticed and long careers are the norm.ABOUT THE ROLEWe're hiring a self-motivated Sprinkler Repair Technician to quote and complete sprinkler repairs and perform the inspections that keep our customers' systems safe and code-compliant. You'll troubleshoot leaks, repair damaged pipe, replace heads and valves, and serve as a second technician on fire pumps and large sprinkler inspections. All work is performed in accordance with NFPA 13, 14, 20, and 25.WHAT YOU'LL DOProvide sprinkler repair quotes and estimates, including quoting sprinkler deficienciesComplete small sprinkler repairs, including troubleshooting leaks, repairing damaged pipe, and replacing sprinkler heads and valvesPerform periodic inspections in accordance with NFPA 25 and company proceduresServe as a second technician on fire pumps and large sprinkler inspectionsDocument work performed and communicate findings and recommendations to customers and internal teamsTake on other duties as assignedWHAT YOU'LL BRINGNICET Level III certification in Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems (required)5 years of documented experience in the fire sprinkler industryWorking knowledge of NFPA 13, 14, 20, and 25High school diploma or GEDValid driver's license with a clean driving recordAbility to lift up to 75 lbs. and climb ladders and/or operate high-lift equipmentStrong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with toolsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionBasic computer skills (email, reports, spreadsheets)Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug test, and background checkCompliance with our Drug & Alcohol Policy — this is a safety-sensitive position (no marijuana use)NICE TO HAVEAlarm/supervisory device experience or fire pump exposureExperience writing clear deficiency reports and customer-facing repair recommendationsSCHEDULE & TRAININGThis is a full-time, in-person position based out of Peoria. In some instances, after-hours or overnight work will be required as needed to accommodate customer schedules.
