Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Systems Technician in San Diego, CA. You will perform inspection, testing, and maintenance of Wet, Dry, Pre-Action and Deluge sprinkler systems, ensuring compliance with NFPA and state health requirements.

Strong documentation and communication skills are essential to identify deficiencies and coordinate with teams. Candidates should have at least three years of field experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Three years of field experience with Wet, Dry, Pre-Action and Deluge Sprinkler systems is required.
• Functional knowledge of Wet and Dry Sprinkler Systems is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, testing and maintenance/repair of Wet, Dry, Pre-Action and Deluge Sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA and State requirements.
• Document deficiencies found during inspections accurately and clearly.
• Communicate with employees, employers, customers, and authorities having jurisdiction, both written and verbally.
