What you will do
  1. Receive service calls from Service Resource Center, including a brief description of equipment/system malfunctions.
  2. Contact customer representative and ascertain equipment/systems problems.
  3. Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications, including but not limited to wet (steel, copper, and CPVC), dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps.
  4. Follow troubleshooting procedures and refer to manuals, notices, and bulletins to diagnose and repair equipment.
  5. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programs, schematics, and manuals.
  6. Provide effective customer service by communicating with staff and customers to ensure satisfaction.
  7. Complete Service Acknowledgements electronically with proper coding and obtain customer signatures.
  8. Participate in scheduled On-call rotations.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
What we look for
Required
  • Four years of documented experience in Fire Sprinkler systems.
  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and manuals.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Ability to follow instructions and perform physical labor (carrying/moving tools up to 70 lbs).
  • Ability to work in challenging positions and environments (ladders, scaffolding, ducts, crawl spaces, etc.).
  • Flexible hours including weekends and overnight travel.
  • High customer service skills and inventory management.
  • Adherence to safety guidelines.
  • Strong organizational skills and positive attitude.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass background and drug tests.
Preferred
  • NICET Level II certification.
