What you will do
  • Receive service calls from Service Resource Center, including a brief description of equipment/system malfunctions.
  • Contact customer representative and ascertain equipment/systems problems.
  • Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications, including but not limited to wet (steel, copper, and CPVC), dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps.
  • Follow troubleshooting procedures and refer to manuals, notices, and bulletins to diagnose and repair equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programs, schematics, and manuals.
  • Provide effective customer service by communicating with staff and customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Complete Service Acknowledgements electronically with proper coding and customer signatures.
  • Participate in scheduled On-call rotations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What we look for
Required
  • Four years of documented experience in Fire Sprinkler systems.
  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and manuals.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Ability to follow instructions and perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50-70 lbs.
  • Ability to work in challenging positions, such as climbing ladders and working in ducts or crawl spaces.
  • Flexibility to work hours including weekends and participate in on-call rotations, with overnight travel as required.
  • High level of customer service skills and maintaining truck inventory.
  • Adherence to safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills and a positive attitude.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug tests.
Preferred
  • NICET Level II certification.
