Job summary

Encore Fire Protection is seeking a Sprinkler Service Technician to join our field-based team. You will inspect, test, service, and troubleshoot wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge sprinkler systems with a focus on reliability and safety.

You will work on active job sites, coordinate with building staff and contractors, and document findings to NFPA standards. Competitive hourly pay and a bonus program accompany benefits such as tuition assistance and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and NFPA codes.
• Ability to read blueprints and system drawings.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel in territory.
• NICET certification in water-based systems is a plus.
• Three+ years of experience inspecting, servicing, or repairing fire sprinkler systems.

Responsibilities

• Service, test, inspect, and troubleshoot fire sprinkler systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs with accuracy and efficiency.
• Identify issues and recommend fixes to meet current code requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors and maintenance staff to schedule service calls.
• Document findings and repairs in accordance with NFPA standards.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain professional conduct on job sites.
