Job summary

Encore Fire Protection, the east coast's largest full-service fire protection company, seeks a Sprinkler Service Technician to inspect, test, service, and troubleshoot wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems across a field-based schedule. You’ll focus on reliability, code compliance, and clear communication while handling planned service, repairs, and occasional emergencies.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years in the field, NFPA familiarity, and strong documentation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or industry experience preferred.
• Familiarity with NFPA codes and general fire protection standards.
• Three+ years of experience inspecting, servicing, or repairing fire sprinkler systems.
• Able to read and understand blueprints and system drawings.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within your assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Service, test, inspect, and troubleshoot fire sprinkler systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs with accuracy and efficiency.
• Identify issues not meeting current code requirements and recommend fixes or upgrades.
• Coordinate with contractors, building maintenance staff, and internal teams to schedule calls.
• Document findings, recommendations, and repairs in line with NFPA standards.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency service requests when needed.
• Represent Encore in a professional manner on every job site.
