Job summary

Encore Fire Protection, the east coast's largest full-service fire protection company, seeks a Sprinkler Service Technician to inspect, test, and service all types of fire sprinkler systems. You will troubleshoot issues, coordinate with contractors, and ensure compliance with NFPA standards on active job sites.

The role demands physical capability, valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel within the territory. Experience with lifts and OSHA safety practices is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain NICET certification (water-based systems).
• Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and fire protection standards.
• Ability to read blueprints and system drawings.
• Experience servicing fire sprinkler systems and components.
• Willingness to travel within territory and operate lifts.

Responsibilities

• Service, test, inspect, and troubleshoot fire sprinkler systems (wet, dry, pre-action, deluge).
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs with accuracy and efficiency.
• Identify code and system issues and recommend fixes or upgrades.
• Coordinate with contractors and building staff to schedule service calls.
• Document findings, recommendations, and repairs per NFPA standards.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies.
