CertaSite is seeking a fire sprinkler service apprentice life safety technician to inspect, test, service and repair fire sprinkler systems, ensuring compliance with NFPA 25 and local codes. The role is fast-paced with high visibility within the company.

Qualifications

• Entry level role; basic understanding of fire sprinkler or plumbing systems is useful.
• Ability to calculate basic math including fractions, decimals, and percentages.
• Basic computer skills: Windows, Word, Outlook; familiarity with mobile OS is helpful.
• Must currently have a valid US drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection and testing of fire sprinkler systems at required frequencies per NFPA 25.
• Troubleshoot and perform service and repair of fire sprinkler systems and related components.
• Document inspections, repairs, discrepancies, and recommendations (electronic or manual).
• Maintain positive customer relationships and relay information for follow-up.
• Keep vehicle clean, stocked with parts and supplies; ensure tools and equipment are ready.
• Work safely and be aware of on-site hazards; assist with additional equipment or services as needed.
