CertaSite in Kent, OH is seeking a fire sprinkler service apprentice life safety technician to perform inspection, testing, service and repairs of fire sprinkler systems and related components. This entry-level role focuses on NFPA 25 compliance, safety, and customer service, with emphasis on documentation and hands-on work.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role with basic understanding of fire sprinkler or plumbing systems.
• Ability to calculate fractions, decimals, and percentages.
• Proficiency with Windows, Word, iOS, Android and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection and testing of fire sprinkler systems at required NFPA 25 frequencies.
• Troubleshoot and service fire sprinkler systems and related components.
• Record and document inspections, repairs, discrepancies, and recommendations.
• Maintain a good relationship with the customer and coordinate follow-up with the team.
• Keep vehicle, parts, and tools organized and stocked.
• Evaluate customer site for additional equipment and services.
• Work in compliance with the company's safety program.
• Perform on-site and/or off-site (phone) emergency troubleshooting of sprinkler systems.
• Must be comfortable with heights, ladders, or confined spaces.
