Job summary

CertaSite in Ohio is seeking a motivated fire sprinkler service apprentice life safety technician to perform inspection, testing, service and repairs of fire sprinkler systems and related components in accordance with NFPA 25 standards.

This entry-level role requires basic math skills, a valid U.S. driver's license, and ability to operate basic computer functions; you will document inspections and work with customers, shadow experienced technicians, and grow with a mission-driven company.

Qualifications

• Must possess the knowledge and ability to understand and operate basic computer functions (Windows, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to perform basic math including fractions, decimals and percentages.
• Must currently have a valid U.S. driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection and testing of fire sprinkler systems at required frequencies per NFPA 25.
• Troubleshoot and service fire sprinkler systems and related components.
• Record and document inspections, repairs and recommendations.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and communicate with the team.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment, including safety practices.
