Job summary

Siemens is hiring a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to service, repair, and install water-based fire protection systems across our Gulf region locations. The role demands 2+ years of hands-on experience in fire alarm or sprinkler work, NICET I certification, and the ability to work in varied environments, including heights and confined spaces.

Ideal candidates will have a valid driver’s license, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and pursue NICET II within 60 days.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in fire alarm or fire sprinkler installation, testing and/or repair.
• NICET I certification in water-based systems; able to complete NICET II within 60 days of employment.
• Ability to work in diverse environments around mechanical equipment and heights; able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be 18+ with valid driver’s license and eligible for Siemens fleet program.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge sprinkler systems and related components.
• Perform inspections and testing of sprinkler systems and water-based equipment.
• Document deficiencies and report on-site per required processes.
• Follow local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all work and manage vehicle stock and tools.

Fire Sprinkler Service Technicians perform service, repairs, and installation associated with fire sprinkler systems and other water-based equipment in accordance with all national and local standards. **** OurFire Sprinkler Service Techniciansspecialized skills, knowledge surround state/federal regulations, and commitment to proper system functioning play a critical role in safeguarding lives, property, and businesses from the devastating effects of fires.

As a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician , you will:

• Install, repair, and maintenance of wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge fire sprinkler systems, standpipes, backflow preventers, fire hydrants, and fire pumps

• Perform fire sprinkler, fire pump and other water-based equipment inspections and testing

• Properly document deficiencies/impairments noted during inspections or service work and follow required process of reporting deficiencies while on-site

• Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures

• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all work performed

• Maintain vehicle stock, tools, and equipment. Follow corporate policies related to vehicle use and care

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

_Basic Qualifications:_ __

• 2+ years of experience Fire Alarm or Fire Sprinkler in the installation, testing and / or repair of water-based equipment

• NICET I certification in water based systems. (Must be able to complete NICET Level II within 60 days of employment)

• Ability and willingness to work in a variety of environments in and around mechanical equipment, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment,working in ducts, above ceilings, and in outside/inside/heat/cold/day/night conditions; use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 poundsunassisted

• Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens' fleet vehicle program

• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

_Preferred Qualifications:_ __ __

• 5+ years of experience with Fire Alarm/Sprinkler installation, testing and repair of water-based equipment

• High school diploma, state-recognized GED, associate, or bachelor's degree preferred

• NICET Level II

The pay range for this position is $57,120 - $97,920 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
