Job summary

Siemens Mobility seeks a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to install, inspect, and repair water-based fire protection systems across Gulf Coast locations, including Destin and nearby branches. You will document deficiencies, follow safety and reporting procedures, and maintain equipment and vehicle stock.

The role requires NICET I, 2+ years in the field, valid US driver's license, and willingness to work in varied environments around mechanical systems. Employment is full-time and on-site.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in fire alarm or fire sprinkler installation, testing, or repair.
• NICET I certification in water-based systems; Level II within 60 days of employment.
• Ability to work in varied environments around mechanical equipment (ladders, scaffolds, high-lift, ducts, inside/outside).
• Must be 18+ with valid driver's license; eligible for Siemens fleet vehicle program.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge fire sprinkler systems and related equipment.
• Perform inspections and testing of fire sprinkler and water-based systems.
• Document deficiencies and report on-site per required process.
• Follow OSHA safety policies and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain stock of tools and vehicle-related documentation.

Fire Sprinkler Service Technicians

perform service, repairs, and installation associated with fire sprinkler systems and other water-based equipment in accordance with all national and local standards. Our Fire Sprinkler Service Technicians specialized skills, knowledge surround state/federal regulations, and commitment to proper system functioning play a critical role in safeguarding lives, property, and businesses from the devastating effects of fires.

As a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician , you will:

• Install, repair, and maintenance of wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge fire sprinkler systems, standpipes, backflow preventers, fire hydrants, and fire pumps
• Perform fire sprinkler, fire pump and other water-based equipment inspections and testing
• Properly document deficiencies/impairments noted during inspections or service work and follow required process of reporting deficiencies while on-site
• Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all work performed
• Maintain vehicle stock, tools, and equipment. Follow corporate policies related to vehicle use and care

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience Fire Alarm or Fire Sprinkler in the installation, testing and / or repair of water-based equipment
• NICET I certification in water based systems. (Must be able to complete NICET Level II within 60 days of employment)
• Ability and willingness to w ork in a variety of environments in and around mechanical equipment, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment, working in ducts, above ceilings, and in outside/inside/heat/cold/day/night conditions; use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations ; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens' fleet vehicle program
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 + years of ex perience with Fire Alarm/Sprinkler installation, testing and repair of water-based equipment
• High school diploma, state-recognized GED , a ssociate , or bachelor's degree preferred

The pay range for this position is $57,120 - $97,920 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
