Job summary

The Hiller Companies, LLC is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to inspect, test, repair and maintain fire sprinkler systems with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance. You will work with clients, contractors and authorities to address issues and ensure system integrity.

Responsibilities include detailed inspection reports, NFPA-based testing, and timely service on various sprinkler systems. Valid CO licensure and NICET credentials are preferred for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CO State Fitter License is required for consideration.
• NICET certifications are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and testing of wet, dry and pre-action fire sprinkler systems per NFPA 25.
• Prepare detailed reports documenting inspection findings and deficiencies.
• Test and evaluate system components: sprinkler heads, valves, piping, pumps, and controls.
• Inspect piping and fittings for corrosion or leaks; recommend repairs.
• Perform maintenance: replace damaged parts, clean components, lubricate, adjust settings.
• Test Fire pump assemblies: flow rates, pressures, mechanical integrity.
• Respond to service calls, diagnose issues, implement repairs to restore functionality.
• Document all activities in Service Trade platform with reports and notes.
• Coordinate with Deficiency Sellers for inspection reports and repair estimates.
• Interact with clients to schedule work and discuss findings and upgrades.
• Collaborate with Service Coordinators to optimize orders and scheduling.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with safety protocols.
