Job summary

CertaSite is seeking a fire sprinkler service level I life safety technician in Columbus, OH, to inspect, test, service, and repair fire sprinkler systems and related components. You will ensure compliance with NFPA 25 and applicable codes while maintaining safety and customer relations.

The role involves on-site inspections, troubleshooting, and potential overtime. NICET certification and a current driver’s license are preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must have basic CAD drawing experience and be able to assist in field surveys.
• Ability to calculate fractions, decimals and percentages.
• Comfort with basic computer functions and standard software.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test fire sprinkler systems to NFPA 25 standards.
• Troubleshoot and service fire sprinkler equipment including pumps.
• Document inspections, repairs and recommendations.
• Maintain customer relationships and coordinate follow ups.
• Keep vehicle and tools clean and stocked for job sites.
• Identify opportunities for additional equipment or services.
