Job summary

FSS Technologies, LLC is seeking an Apprentice Fire Sprinkler Inspector to join our field team. You will work under supervision to inspect, test, and service water-based fire protection systems in commercial and multifamily buildings, adhering to NFPA 25 and AHJ requirements.

This trainee position emphasizes training toward NICET Level I in Inspection and Testing. You will not perform licensed work until qualified and allowed by state law.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Basic math skills, including reading gauges and simple calculations.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn fire protection systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist inspections, tests, and maintenance on sprinkler systems under supervision.
• Visually inspect sprinklers, piping, and devices for issues.
• Record inspection results accurately in forms or software.
• Follow impairment procedures and ensure systems are back in service after testing.
