Job summary

Chesapeake Fire Protection in Ashburn, VA is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Tenant Sales Representative / Project Manager to develop new business, estimate projects, and manage tenant improvements. You will build relationships with General Contractors and end users to turn opportunities into results.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of fire sprinkler estimating/sales experience, plus strong knowledge of NFPA codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of fire sprinkler estimating/sales experience.
• Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and construction industry.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Familiarity with NFPA 13, NFPA 14, NFPA 20 and local codes.
• Excellent sales, estimating, project management, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through calls, leads, and marketing.
• Understand customer needs and develop effective sales strategies.
• Close sales and exceed established sales goals.
• Build lasting relationships with customers, GCs, and end users.
• Estimate projects from $100K to $1MM+ and manage service/repair work as needed.
• Attend job walks and project meetings and manage project changes.
