Job summary

Fire Safety First is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Repair Foreman to lead on-site sprinkler repair teams and coordinate installations, modifications, and repairs across Southern California. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and timely service with strong customer communication.

Candidates should have 5–10 years in the field, a California Fire Fitter Certification, and knowledge of NFPA 13, NFPA 25, and the California Fire Code.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 5–10 years of experience in fire protection, preferably including foreman or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of NFPA 13, NFPA 25, and California Fire Code.
• Valid California Fire Fitter Certification.
• Safety training specific to the role.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and support fire sprinkler repair technicians to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety.
• Conduct installation, modification, and repair of fire sprinkler systems.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting, service, and repairs of sprinkler systems.
• Identify code violations and recommended solutions.
• Coordinate daily work activities, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet schedules and customer expectations.
• Complete accurate, detailed reports and work orders on time.
• Interact professionally with customers, building engineers, property managers, and team members.
• Provide training and guidance to repair technicians to promote skill development and safety awareness.

Job Summary

• Ensures customers receive high‑level service with effective communication and meets expectations before leaving the jobsite.
• Leads, directs, and supports fire sprinkler repair technicians, maintaining quality, efficiency, and safety standards.
• Conducts installation, modification, and repair of fire sprinkler systems.
• Provides advanced troubleshooting, service, and repairs of sprinkler systems.
• Identifies code violations and non‑compliant issues and recommends solutions.
• Interprets inspection reports, product specification sheets, O&M manuals, drawings, blueprints, and fire codes.
• Coordinates daily work activities, assigns tasks, and monitors progress to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and meet customer expectations.
• Completes and produces accurate, detailed reports and work orders on time.
• Interacts professionally with customers, building engineers, property managers, and serves as an efficient team member within the department.
• Provides guidance, training, and support to repair technicians to promote skill development, safety awareness, and consistent work quality.
• Operates a company‑provided service vehicle; keeps it maintained, clean, and stocked with necessary tools and supplies.
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization.
• Communicates job updates, challenges, and recommendations to supervisors, customers, and internal teams as needed.
• Identifies continuous‑improvement solutions to promote efficiency.
• Adheres to company employment policies and safety practices, including CAL OSHA and other relevant regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience/Training/Education

• High School Diploma.
• 5‑10 years of experience in this field, preferably including foreman or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of NFPA 13, NFPA 25, and California Fire Code.
• Valid California Fire Fitter Certification.
• Safety training specific to the role.

Job Type

• Full‑time, on‑site, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week.
