Job summary

CJ Suppression is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Working Foreman to lead installation projects across California, including tenant improvements and new builds. The role requires hands-on leadership, NFPA 13 compliance, and coordination with project managers and design teams.

You will mentor apprentices, enforce safety protocols per OSHA and company policies, and travel to job sites across LA, Orange, Riverside, and surrounding counties. This is a full-time, field-based position.

Qualifications

• Hands-on leadership of fire sprinkler installations.
• Interpret blueprints and NFPA 13 standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety and OSHA policies.
• Coordinate with project managers and design teams.
• Mentor apprentices and train crew.
• Attend safety meetings and stay current on codes.

This is a full-time, field-based role in California requiring hands‑on expertise and leadership in fire sprinkler system installation. Project areas include: LA county, Orange County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County

As a Foreman, you will oversee a small crew, ensure compliance with NFPA 13 standards, and maintain high-quality workmanship that directly impacts life safety. You will interpret blueprints and fire codes, coordinate with project managers and design teams, and adapt plans to meet job site conditions. You’ll also mentor apprentices and enforce safety protocols in accordance with OSHA and company policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA 13 standards and project specifications.
• Follow all safety regulations, including proper use of PPE and adherence to OSHA guidelines.
• Apply industry-standard practices and methods for fire protection system installation.
• Work independently under limited supervision, ensuring timely and compliant execution.
• Train and coach fire sprinkler apprentices, supporting skill development and safety awareness.
• Attend safety, training, and educational meetings to stay current on regulations and resolve job site issues.
• Perform work that consistently passes fire inspections and meets local requirements.
• Lead a team of 1–3, ensuring productivity and quality control.
