Job summary

Everon is seeking a Fire Alarm/Inspection professional for on-site fieldwork in the Ladson, SC area. The role involves testing, inspecting, and documenting deficiencies in fire alarm and sprinkler systems, with supervision from senior inspectors.

Qualifications include 1+ year of relevant inspection experience, NFPA knowledge, and NICET certifications. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be able to work in varied weather conditions.

Qualifications

High School or vocational training completed.
1+ years of experience inspecting fire alarm products or wet fire sprinkler systems.
PCs: basic to intermediate proficiency.
Familiar with fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems; NFPA 72 and NFPA 25 knowledge.
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass drug screening.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics in English.

Responsibilities

Conducts routine tests and inspections of fire alarm and sprinkler systems per procedures.
Verifies proper operation and documents findings accurately.
Prepares inspection and deficiency reports for management.
Interfaces with service management and customers to explain work and address questions.
Maintains truck inventory and adheres to safety policies.
Willingness to travel and be on-call as needed.
