Job summary

Everon is seeking a Field Inspector to test and inspect fire alarm and sprinkler systems, document deficiencies, and ensure quality service for customers. The role requires performing tests, generating reports, and coordinating with service teams.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of relevant experience, PC proficiency, NFPA knowledge, and a valid driver's license. Occasional travel and a strong emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School/Vocational training.
• 1+ year of experience inspecting fire alarm products, wet fire sprinkler systems or related industry experience.
• Proficient in the use of personal computers.
• Working knowledge of test equipment such as multimeters, battery analyzers and decibel meters.
• Familiarity with fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems.
• Understanding of NFPA 72 and NFPA 25.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine tests and inspections of fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems.
• Verify operation and document work performed with accurate reports.
• Prepare inspection/deficiency reports for management review.
• Interface with service management to schedule and handle work.
• Explain work performed to customers and address questions.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain and organize truck inventory and tools for quick response.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain a strong work ethic.
