Job summary

Everon in the United States seeks a field service technician to conduct routine tests and inspections of fire alarm, fire safety, and sprinkler systems. You will document deficiencies, verify operation, and prepare reports for management.

You will interface with service management and customers, explain findings, resolve issues, maintain truck inventory, and follow safety policies. A strong work ethic and detail orientation are essential; NICET certification within one year is required.

Qualifications

• High School or vocational training required.
• Experience inspecting fire alarm products, wet and dry sprinkler systems, or related experience.
• Proficiency with personal computers.
• Familiarity with fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and policies in English.
• Must obtain NICET Level I in Inspection and Testing of Fire Alarm Systems within 1 year.
• Must obtain NICET Level I in Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine tests and inspections of fire alarm, fire safety, and sprinkler systems per prescribed processes.
• Verify operation and prepare accurate documentation of work performed.
• Prepare inspection/deficiency reports for management.
• Interface with service management to schedule work.
• Explain work performed to customers and answer questions.
• Resolve customer concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain and organize truck inventory (parts and tools).
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
