Job summary

Everon is seeking a detail‑oriented inspector to test and inspect fire alarm and sprinkler systems. You will document deficiencies, verify operation, and prepare reports for management while coordinating with service teams. A valid driver's license and basic blueprint literacy are required.

The role emphasizes customer communication, safety, and versatility in handling equipment and on-site conditions across service locations.

Qualifications

• High School or vocational training completed.
• 1+ year inspecting fire alarm products or wet sprinkler systems.
• Proficient with personal computers and common software.
• Familiar with test equipment: multimeters, battery analyzers, decibel meters.
• Knowledge of NFPA 72 and NFPA 25; identify basic deficiencies.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass drug screening.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and related docs in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine tests and inspections of fire alarm and sprinkler systems.
• Document deficiencies and ensure accurate reporting.
• Generate inspection and deficiency reports for management.
• Coordinate with service management to schedule work.
• Explain work performed to customers and address questions.
• Maintain truck inventory and tools to meet customer needs.
• Adhere to safety policies and demonstrate strong work ethic.
