Job summary

Everon is seeking a dedicated Inspector to test and inspect fire alarm and sprinkler systems, document deficiencies, and coordinate with service management. The role requires reading blueprints, NFPA knowledge, and a valid driver’s license.

On-call travel and a strong work ethic are essential to ensure customer satisfaction. Applicants should have 1+ year experience in related inspections and the ability to interpret schematics.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school or vocational training.
• 1+ year experience inspecting fire alarm or wet sprinkler systems.
• Proficient with personal computers and standard software.
• Knowledge of NFPA 72 and NFPA 25.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass drug screening.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine tests and inspections of fire alarm and sprinkler systems.
• Document deficiencies and prepare reports for management.
• Verify proper operation and timely documentation of work performed.
• Interface with service management to schedule and coordinate work.
• Explain work performed to customers and address questions.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and maintain satisfaction.
• Maintain truck inventory and ensure tools/equipment are organized.
• Adhere to safety policies and demonstrate strong work ethic.
