Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an Inspector to perform routine inspections of Electrical, Sprinkler, or Suppression life-safety product lines on-site at customer sites. You will document deficiencies, code properly, and maintain professional representation of the company.

The role includes travel, on-call hours, and the potential for NICET II certification. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, 1 year of sprinkler inspection experience, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Experience reading blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, programs/schematics, and manuals.
• Able to work flexible hours, including on-call, nights, weekends.
• Willingness to travel out of town and pass pre-employment background/drug tests.
• NICET II is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections and document deficiencies.
• Represent Johnson Controls professionally to customers.
• Complete inspections with proper coding via laptops, smartphones, or hard copy.
• Follow a structured inspection schedule and complete tasks on time.
• Assist with installation and minor repairs of sprinkler systems.
