Impact Fire Services in Texas is seeking a trainee who will learn the mechanics of sprinkler system installation, assist at job sites, and help with cleanup, unloading, and material distribution under guidance of a Sprinkler Fitter. The Helper will cut and thread pipe and may install and test sprinklers under close supervision.
The role includes maintaining a clean vehicle, ensuring a safe work environment, and performing tasks as directed by the Fitter and Fire Alarm/ Sprinkler Manager.
This position is considered a trainee who is learning the mechanics of sprinkler system installation. This position may be responsible for site clean-up, unloading, staging, and distributing work material to other employees at a job site. Position will also cut and thread pipe. May install and test fire sprinkler systems under the close guidance of a Sprinkle Fitter. Position receives guidance and direction regarding day-to-day work tasks from a Sprinkler Fitter. Continued employment is contingent on successfully obtaining applicable Oklahoma state licensing. The Helper is also responsible for assisting in maintaining a clean, well-organized vehicle and ensuring a safe environment for his/herself, co-workers, and customers. A qualified trainee is a responsible & reliable individual.
