Job summary

Impact Fire Services, LLC is seeking a trainee helper to learn sprinkler system installation under close guidance of a Sprinkler Fitter. Responsibilities

• Work with the Fitter to complete tasks on site.

• Maintain vehicle in good condition and organized.
• Perform tasks as assigned by the Fitter and Manager.
• The ability to work in scissor/boom lifts and on ladders as necessary.

Job description

This position is considered a trainee who is learning the mechanics of sprinkler system installation. This position may be responsible for site clean-up, unloading, staging, and distributing work material to other employees at a job site. Position will also cut and thread pipe. May install and test fire sprinkler systems under the close guidance of a Sprinkle Fitter. Position receives guidance and direction regarding day-to-day work tasks from a Sprinkler Fitter. Continued employment is contingent on successfully obtaining applicable Oklahoma state licensing. The Helper is also responsible for assisting in maintaining a clean, well-organized vehicle and ensuring a safe environment for his/herself, co-workers, and customers. A qualified trainee is a responsible & reliable individual.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with the Fitter to achieve any tasks necessary to complete work on a given job site in a timely, effective manner
• Learn applicable fire protection codes and obtain applicable state licensing.
• Protect and maintain company equipment
• Maintain their vehicle in accordance with company procedures and ensure it is clean and organized
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the Fitter and/or the Fire Alarm and Sprinkler Manager
• The ability & willingness to work in scissor/boom lifts & on ladders as necessary
