Job summary

You will assist with site cleanup, unloading, staging, and distributing materials, and may cut and thread pipe. You will work toward licensing and maintain safety on the job site.

The role emphasizes reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and strong willingness to learn in a hands-on environment with supervision.

Qualifications

• Follow verbal work instructions and directions.
• Capable of working independently and completing duties with moderate supervision.
• Demonstrate initiative to learn skills of the trade.
• Learn applicable fire sprinkler installation, inspection, and servicing codes.
• Read labels, signage and directions along with basic math.
• General mechanical background.
• Demonstrate strong customer service orientation.
• Strong organization skills and positive attitude.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from jobsite.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Fitter to complete tasks on site.
• Learn fire protection codes and obtain state licensing.
• Protect and maintain company equipment.
• Maintain vehicle in good condition and organized.
• Perform tasks as assigned by the Fitter and Manager.
• The ability to work in scissor/boom lifts and on ladders as necessary.
