Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 1 year of relevant experience, or 4 years with a high school diploma.
• FE exam completion is preferred.
• Proficiency with Revit and Bluebeam Revu is preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform calculations and design basic engineering systems in collaboration with experienced design staff.
• Prepare system layouts, detailed drawings and schematics.
• Review shop drawings for conformance to plans and specifications.
• Prepare or modify reports, plans and designs for projects.
• Act as a mentor to less experienced designers.
• Support business development or pursuit activities.
• Participate in client, company and industry events to build relationships.
• Maintain knowledge of industry software and evolving codes and standards.
• Communicate with clients to coordinate requirements and scope of work.
• Occasionally visit job sites to verify conditions and observe progress.
