Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, submittals, and manuals.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.
• Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Fire Sprinkler Fitter with service, maintenance, and repairs on sprinkler and suppression life safety product lines.
• Support testing and troubleshooting activities for fire sprinkler systems.
• Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and use manuals and bulletins to diagnose and repair equipment and systems.
• Complete inspection reports and repair documents with proper coding using a smartphone, laptop, or hard copy documentation.
• Follow a structured service schedule and complete assigned work in an organized manner.
• Perform duties with safety in mind at all times.
