Job summary

Bosch Building Technologies North America is seeking a Fire Service Supervisor to lead the fire alarm service team, focusing on Notifier systems and major life-safety platforms. You will drive service quality, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction while mentoring technicians and coordinating with subcontractors.

The role oversees scheduling, TSA workflows, billing accuracy, and project turnovers, serving as the primary technical escalation for complex issues.

Qualifications

Minimum of high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
5+ years of hands-on experience with fire life safety systems such as Notifier, Fire Lite, Silent Knight, Potter.
2+ years in a leadership role leading teams of 3–6 technicians.
2+ years supervising service technicians in a technical or commercial service environment.
Familiarity with managing service operations, including scheduling, dispatch, and resource allocation.
Proficiency with service management software and Microsoft Office; basic understanding of controls/networking.
Ability to travel locally to customer sites and office, up to 10% out of area.
Strong customer service, sales, and support experience.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and supervise assigned employees to achieve productivity and safety objectives.
Ensure NFPA 72, OSHA, AHJ, and local codes compliance.
Oversee scheduling, TSA fulfillment, inspection and service delivery, and billing processes.
Review inspection reports, identify deficiencies, and coordinate proposals and corrective actions.
Serve as primary technical escalation point for complex issues and service events.
Collaborate with sales/operations on estimating, planning, and design.
Identify and pursue change order opportunities with clear customer communication.
Coordinate with customers and engineers to ensure project success and satisfaction.
Support installation, startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and ongoing service activities.
Maintain accurate documentation and project turnover between teams.
