Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Fire Alarm Service Supervisor to lead the daily fire alarm service function, coordinate technicians and resources, and ensure safe, efficient, high-quality service.

You will oversee scheduling, provide leadership to technicians, monitor daily activity, and drive safety and customer satisfaction across the department. This role requires supervisory experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory, leadership, or field operations experience, preferably in fire alarm, life safety, or related service operations.
• Experience coordinating employees, schedules, work assignments, or customer service activities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a changing environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and hold employees accountable for performance and company expectations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily fire alarm service operations, including scheduling, dispatching, workload assignments, and resource coordination.
• Provide leadership, coaching, direction, and support to service technicians to build productivity, accountability, teamwork, and professional growth.
• Monitor daily service activity to help ensure work is completed on time and customer commitments are met.
• Coordinate with customers, technicians, management, purchasing, warehouse, and internal departments to support timely service delivery and clear communication.
• Manage escalated customer concerns, service issues, and scheduling challenges in a professional and timely manner.
• Review work orders, service reports, completion records, and related documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company procedures.
• Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring employees follow company policies, PPE requirements, and safe work practices at all times.
