The GEO Group, Inc. in New Jersey is seeking a Fire and Safety Manager to lead facility safety and loss prevention programs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and providing guidance to facility management.

You will conduct regular safety inspections, train staff and inmates as needed, manage safety budgets, coordinate emergency planning, and act as liaison with local authorities, contractors, and insurers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety with relevant training.
• OSHA NFPA knowledge and compliance experience.
• Ability to write reports and communicate with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Develop local safety procedures for employees and others.
• Conduct regular safety inspections of facilities, equipment and vehicles.
