GEO Secured Services is seeking a Fire and Safety Manager to oversee facility safety and loss prevention programs. You will ensure compliance with safety regulations and provide guidance to management.

The role involves developing local procedures, conducting inspections, and delivering training across the site. Responsibilities include coordinating safety audits, supervising safety personnel, and participating in emergency planning with community responders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with safety training and 2 years in a correctional safety role or 5 years in related fields.
• Certification in fire and safety procedures within 2 years of entering position.
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA and NFPA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce safety policies at corporate and facility levels.
• Develop local safety procedures for staff, inmates, and visitors.
• Conduct regular safety inspections of facilities, equipment, and vehicles.
• Provide safety training for all staff and inmates.
• Coordinate audits and compliance across GEO facilities.
