The City of Henderson, Nevada, Building & Fire Safety / Development Services Center is seeking an experienced Fire Marshal to lead the Fire Safety Division, guiding fire inspections, plan review, and code enforcement to protect a growing community.

As a senior public-safety leader, you will shape development, oversee prevention programs, collaborate with developers and public agencies, and manage a team of inspectors and plan examiners while maintaining strong partnerships with internal

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Fire Science, Fire Prevention, Architecture, Fire Protection Engineering or related field.
• Seven (7) or more years of progressively responsible experience in fire prevention for a governmental agency, with at least three (3) years in a managerial or supervisory role.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Fire Safety Division, including fire inspections, plan review, and code enforcement.
• Drive organizational priorities and operational excellence from the Fire Marshal's office.
• Coordinate with developers, public agencies, and internal stakeholders to ensure fire code compliance and safe development.
• Serve as acting Manager of Inspection Services when needed and support the Fire Chief.
