Job summary

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year Fire Life Safety Industry experience specifically within the Shop area, preferred.
• 1 year of professional computer skills, preferred.
• Inventory control experience, preferred.
• Forklift certification, license, or experience, required.
• Must be able to comply with drug and alcohol policy and background screening requirements.
• Efficient time management and strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and teamwork abilities.
• Strong diligence and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Receive materials and store them in the warehouse.
• Pick items and move them within the shop and to transportation areas.
• Perform hydrostatic tests or 6-year internal inspections on fire extinguishers.
• Assist with walk-in customers for fire extinguishers.
• Occasionally deliver fire extinguishers and cabinets to customers.
• Maintain cleanliness of shop and extinguisher holding areas.
• Identify and inspect received inventory and verify labels.
• Drive company vehicles as assigned and transport items to/from trucks.
• Support inventory audits and keep work areas organized.
• Adhere to safety and company policies in all tasks.
