Job summary

Summit Fire & Security is seeking a Fire Life Safety Technician in the Orlando, FL area. This role involves installation, inspection, service and repair of fire extinguishers, pre-engineered suppression systems, and related detection/control systems.

The candidate should have 2+ years in the Fire Life Safety field, 2 years of professional computer skills, and a valid driver’s license. Travel 90% is required, with adherence to safety programs and customer-focused communication.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
State or any required certification preferred.
2 Fire Life Safety Industry experience specifically within Fire Suppression.
2 years of professional computer skills.
Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Install, inspect, service and repair fire extinguishers, pre-engineered suppression systems, and detection/control systems.
Troubleshoot defective components and perform repairs.
Communicate professionally with customers and schedule work.
Document work orders and ensure safety policies are followed.
