Job summary

Baltimore County Government is seeking a Human Resources Analyst I to support the Fire Recruitment Office. The role involves recruitment administration, coordination of applicants and tests, and data management for workforce planning.

Under supervision, you will help with job postings, outreach, and maintaining career pages, while coordinating events and tracking metrics related to recruitment and diversity. This is an on-site position in Towson, MD with occasional after-hours events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; substitutions allowed for education with experience up to four years.
• Basic knowledge of public personnel administration and statistical concepts.
• Ability to collect, evaluate, and analyze information for personnel related studies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment administration, applicant coordination, outreach, data management, and program support.
• Communicate with applicants, new recruits, personnel, and external stakeholders.
• Help with attending job fairs, creating recruitment materials, and posting jobs.
• Maintain departmental careers web page in collaboration with Communications and Public Information offices.
• Schedule and organize physical agility tests, interviews, and skills tests; ensure proper staffing and supplies.
• Track forms, perform data entry, and update applicant status and testing dates.
• Analyze recruitment metrics and create spreadsheets illustrating trends and data.
• Assist with onboarding, background checks, and Fire Rescue Academy transitions.
