Baltimore County, MD in Towson is seeking an onsite Recruitment Administrator to support the Fire Recruitment Office with recruiting operations, applicant coordination, outreach, data management, and program support.

Under supervision, you will manage job postings, coordinate assessments, collect forms, and communicate with applicants and external agencies. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, with HR experience or substitutions allowed; adherence to personnel laws and confidentiality is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree preferred; alternatives allowed with HR admin experience.
• Knowledge of HR principles, laws, and public personnel practices.
• Ability to collect, evaluate, and analyze information for personnel-related studies.
• Ability to communicate effectively and handle confidential material.
• Must attach transcripts or licenses to the application.

Responsabilidades

• Support recruitment administration, applicant coordination, outreach, data management, and program support.
• Communicate with applicants, career personnel, and outside stakeholders.
• Assist with job fairs and recruitment materials.
• Assist with job postings for Probationary Firefighter, Probationary EMT, and Entry Level Paramedic.
• Maintain the departmental careers web page in collaboration with Communications.
• Schedule and organize tests and interviews for candidates.
• Collect and organize required forms and complete data entry.
• Maintain applicant engagement with status updates.
• Streamline recruitment workflows to reduce cycle times.
• May assist with onboarding and background checks.
• Interpret and apply personnel policies and laws.
• Analyze recruitment metrics.
• Create/update spreadsheets for trends and market data.
• Ensure compliance with laws and MOU.
• May work evenings/weekends for events.
