Job summary

Summit Fire & Security is seeking a Sales Representative to grow new business in construction and services sales. The role involves acquiring leads, servicing customers, and managing the full sales cycle from bid to contract. You will build relationships, prepare proposals, and coordinate with project management, design, and accounting teams.

Strong communication and organization are essential. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant sales experience, and

Qualifications

• 2 years relevant work experience in business development, or Fire Life Safety sales experience.
• 2 years operating a computer, Microsoft Office, required.

Responsibilities

• Acquire sales leads for new work including the installation service and support of fire protection systems across all disciplines.
• Lead the sales process from initial contact to contract/Notice to Proceed; coordinate with customer and internal teams.
• Generate new relationships and proposals, follow up on active proposals, and close sales.
• Communicate status of active proposals to Management; attend internal and external meetings.
• Assist Project Managers, Design Department, and Accounting with schedules, costs, and billing.
• Support marketing activities and company promotion; be a self-starter, organized and detail oriented.
